IN JUST 20 DAYS” Presidential Assistant Michael Dino welcomes Yolanda Survivors in their new homes
Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Michael Dino finally welcomed the Yolanda survivors in their new and permanent homes on November 28.
The first batch of the beneficiaries consisted of 280 families from Barangay 88 were relocated to North Hill Arbours in Tacloban.
The keys are also ready and waiting for the arriving beneficiaries.
53rd Engineering brigade are also there to help the relocation of the families in their new homes.
Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas wrote that there will be more families to be relocated tomorrow, they are moving the families little by little everyday for safety purposes.
They also thanked the Tacloban LGU,53rd Engineering brigade and other volunteers who helped to boost the relocation of the beneficiaries.
According to Jonji T. Gonzales, co-founder of Bisaya Na Pud and Founder of Mugstoria, the site now has basic amneties including water, power and even free transportation for the beneficiaries.
The task force ‘BULIG’ which led by Presidential Assistant Dino is expecting a daily transfer of the settlers, until the last family beneficiary will be in their new home by end of December. Around 8,000 family beneficiaries shall be transferred to permanent houses in 17 relocation sites north of Tacloban.
