Despite of the support received by Commission on Human Rights from the millennials, several Netizens were still believed that CHR had been biased since it was made during the administration of former President Cory Aquino.

One of them is the actress, Beverly Salviejo who believed that the Commission on Human Rights were only choosing what to condemn.

Ms. Salviejo, shared her thoughts about the current issue about CHR on her Facebook page.

According to her Facebook post, the CHR had been biased all along since it was created because she noticed that the office which created to protect the human rights of every Filipino citizens ignored several ‘massacres’ happened during the past three decades.

She mentioned, Mendiola Massacre (1987), Hacienda Luisita Massacre (2004) and Kidapawan Massacre (2016).

These were the massacres that blamed by the critics to the powerful Aquino family.

This is the whole post of Actress Beverly Salviejo:

EXCUSE ME! But the CHR HAD BEEN BIASED ALL ALONG….
IN THE PAST, THEY DID NOT SQUEAK A BIT WHEN THE FARMERS ( i repeat, farmers) WERE MASSACRED IN THE RALLY AT MENDIOLA BY THE CORY ADMINISTRATION ….
THEY DID NOT PROTEST WHEN THE FARMERS (again, farmers), WERE KILLED AND MASSACRED IN HACIENDA LUISITA….
THEY DID NOT SHOUT AND RAISE THEIR VOICES WHEN IN KIDAPAWAN, THE HUNGRY FARMERS (yes, farmers again) MARCHED TO DEMAND FOR RICE BUT WERE MET WITH GUNFIRE WITH SOME KILLED, and WOMEN AND THE ELDERLY JAILED…
ALL THESE DURING THE PAST AQUINO ADMINISTRATIONS…
BUT NOW DURING PRRD’s WATCH, THEY HOWL AND PROTEST WHEN CRIMINALS ARE KILLED IN POLICE OPERATIONS!!!!
CRIMINALS HAVE MORE HUMAN RIGHTS THAN FARMERS???!!!

Her post went viral on the internet and as of writing it already reached thousands of reactions and likes from the Netizens.

This week, the House of the Representatives decided to leave Commission on Human Rights with only ₱1,000 budget for 2018.

The decision of the congress angered the opposition and several millennials who believed to the mandate of the Commission on Human Rights.
