Pres. Duterte Told PNP to Investigate Groups Trying to Sabotage the Drug War, Reveals Carl Arnaiz as Relative

Pres. Rody Duterte told the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa to watch out and investigate some groups who are trying to sabotage the anti-illegal drug operations of the PNP through the killings of innocent teenagers.


The President was quoted as saying "Silipin mong mabuti kasi... sinasabotahe kayo, Sinasadya talaga 'yan (Watch out carefully because you are being sabotaged. Those are intentional)," Duterte said.

Pres. Duterte also revealed during a speech on Friday, that one of the victims, Carl Arnaiz, the 19-year-old student killed in an alleged shootout in Caloocan City, is his relative.

The former Mayor of Davao City stated "Isa diyan sa pinatay relative ko (One of those killed is my relative)...Carl Angelo Arnaiz," Duterte said at the anniversary celebration of Digos City, Davao del Sur.

SAP Bong Go revealed that Carl Arnaiz' father, Carlito revealed in an interview that Carl Arnaiz came from Maasin, Southern Leyte, hometown of President's mother, Soledad Roa-Duterte. Bong Go
 stated further that there is an assumption that the Arnaiz family is distantly related to the Roas.

During the speech of Pres. Duterte he also stated that there are reports of massive rallies against the Duterte administration but he reiterated his call to all PNP personnel to remain inside their barracks.
